Mission and Vision

My passion for footcare nursing stemmed originally from my past, when I fought cancer in my leg. My battle was long and yes life changing. I fought extremely hard to salvage my leg at the tender age of 20.

It shaped my gratitude and the reason I became a nurse. While working at the hospital my passion was reinforced when I saw first-hand the need for preventative footcare. I knew at that time that my legacy chose me not the other way around. Ensuring that my clients have healthy feet is my optimal goal and my purpose. I equally chose to incorporate holistic modalities and approach my practice where the clinical intersects with a well-rounded holistic approach. It has been this philosophy that has maintained my own personal health. My journey for “self-healing” and therapeutic medicine emphasizes my philosophy that I look at the whole person. My love of herbs as a Certified Chartered Herbalist is an option as well to treat all your senses as I want you to feel that your feet have had the ultimate experience and hence to “Zen Out.”

I have incorporated a hygge philosophy in my life and in my design work and have brought all that into my clinical practice as I believe that when you find time to heal yourself and you allow the time for you, your world expands, and you can allow the healing to truly begin.

I have travelled the world and speak five languages and have been inspired by how various cultures approach healing, that element equally is brought into my practice. I look forward to healing you with my hands, my knowledge and most importantly with my gratitude. I have remained in remission because my purpose is to always pay it forward. Finding the state that brings you most happiness is a personal journey, however giving care to your feet is an awakening that allows you to feel so great and is a direct contribution to achieving a life where you can dwell in any possibility!

I know because my feet are everything in my journey to wellness and optimal health. I came to realize that people neglect their feet and that proper preventative foot care is an important component of healthy living. Seeing and acting on this gap in ones personal health care is the crux to why I became a Registered Advanced Foot Care Nurse.”

My mission at Westcoast Footcare Wellness is to provide you and your loved ones with quality care. I look at the overall person. I offer like I said above a holistic and whole-patient care approach so you and your loved ones receive exceptional care. I focus my approach on long term solutions, pain management, understanding underlying causes to certain medical conditions, health teaching, coordinating patient care, while promoting healthy aging and active lifestyles. Because you matter!

Our Mission:

Did you know that the average person walks more than 10,000 steps each day? Our ability to stay active and mobile is directly linked to the health of our feet. As we age, each of us has unique problems and challenges with our feet that may require a professional Foot Care Nurse, with a personal touch, to fix these issues and monitor them over time and equally send out referrals to specialty doctors when an issue is pressing and acute. Caring for our feet can become difficult as we get older. When unable to reach or see, something as simple as improperly trimming toenails can lead to serious injuries and increase the risk of infections.

Providing foot care to our seniors is more than just receiving a standard pedicure at a nail salon. While you may think that we are just cutting toenails; we are providing you with a full lower limb assessment and treatment at every appointment to ensure that you are not showing any signs of infection, inflammation, trauma, impaired circulation, ingrown toenails, or ulceration. We have the unique role of promoting the maintenance of healthy lower limbs and feet, as well as preventing foot complications.

At Westcoast Footcare Wellness, we specialize in complete nursing foot care for anyone and everyone, with or without underlying health conditions.

We Keep Going, So You Can Keep Moving.
